Vision Offering 2024
Our annual vision offering is an opportunity for us to make sure our treasure and our hearts are in the same place.
“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Jesus (Matthew 6:21)
Our heart is for God’s house, in gathering together on Sundays to worship and come around good teaching, in meeting in our groups and growing together as disciples. We are His Body, a place in which every person can find purpose and belonging.
Our heart is for our streets, sharing the good news of Jesus with those in our world. From the couple living next door to the person who sits across from us every day at work. We are unashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our heart is for the city, making a difference in the communities we live in. Whether that’s helping a neighbour, giving out food hampers or putting on big family fun days to help bring people together. Jesus has called us to love our neighbours as ourselves.
Together we are on a mission to share the good news of Jesus Christ to our world through the way we gather, the words we say and the actions we do.
Our VISION OFFERING goal this year is to raise an additional £50000 over the next 12 months that will helps us achieve our hearts goals.

Our Heart for the City
Our heart is to see communities impacted by the Gospel of Jesus through a number of different outreach opportunities:
EBOR GARDENS COMMUNITY CENTRE - £10000
Working in partnership with Project Hope Leeds we are helping Project Hope bring fresh life to a community centre in the heart of some of the most deprived areas of Leeds.
NEW SIGHT - £5000
We want to support our missionaries in the Congo, Joyce & Henri Samoutou as they establish one of the regions first and only medical centres specialising in the treatment of eyes. As well as all the work they do to share the Gospel.
C3 LIFE YORK - £10000
We also want to continue to invest in our York location as it breaks open new ground in the city.
Our Heart for the Streets
A lot of what we do at a church is to equip the saints to take the good news of Jesus Christ into our streets. To shout His name across the city.
One of the ways we are equipping the saints and reaching the streets is through our ONLINE MINISTRY.
Last year we saw nearly 40000 views (or 1600 hours of viewing) on our youtube channel.
One lady commented: “I'm battling breast cancer but in the name of Jesus I know this is my Winning Season!!!”
And we are seeing the impact locally too as people find our church through our website and social media.
Our online work and social media also provides a unique opportunity to introduce people to Jesus and church before they even have to attend.
Our Heart for the House
Our giving will help us continue to provide places to gather and the infrastructure that keeps us functioning as a church and staying focused on discipling and equipping people to become better followers of Jesus.
Two areas we really want to resource this year are our YOUTH and also our day to day communications which takes up a lot of administrative time. To do this we want to employ a:
YOUTH WORKER – with an aim to develop fresh programmes and a team for our growing youth congregation.
And a COMMS ASSISTANT – with the aim to release our senior leaders from day to day tasks covering everything from posting to social media and helping keep general communications between teams and the church clear and consistent..
(We will be advertising for both these roles imminently and can be fulfilled either as two separate roles or by one person.)

Note - Any additional funds raised will be used to strengthen ourselves financially as a church by helping us protect and add to our current reserves. Details of all of our finances, including a breakdown of this coming years spending plan will be sent out by the end of April and made available to those interested.
